SAINT-TROPEZ - Eglise Paroissiale

Organ : 3 keyboards , pedalboard - 28 stops

Back

This organ refers to the French style of the 2nd half of the 18th century.
The case resumes the general lines of a classic style sometimes practised in this region of the South of France (Barjols, Carpentras : Cathédrale St Siffrein).

The Division of Great-Organ is at the level of the great cases's belt , arranged in three windchests. Both trebble windchests  integrate the Cornet’s groove channels of the Solo, unique stop of the third keyboard

The Pedal’s chromatic windchests are on the side of the Great-Organ’s  windchests. On one side, we find the Flute of 8’ and the Trompette  of pedal, on the other one, a Basson of 16’ in real length, the Bourdon of 16’ and a Flute of 4’.

The polychromy, as for all the inside of the Church, was made by Mr Pierre Sibieude.
